About The Guild

Achievement was founded on June 9th, 2019.

Originally we started on Alliance but eventually moved to Horde on June 1st, 2020 for a fresh beginning! Since then we have grown to over 100 individual, active players!

We are a multi-faceted, social guild that strives to create a sense of community in all aspects of the game. We pride ourselves on providing a fun and engaging environment where players of all styles can find a home, make new friends, and always have something new to do.

We have a heavy emphasis on achievement and mount hunting, farming reputations, collection and character completion. Additionally, we host monthly and weekly challenges and events to participate in!

points explained

Achievement members can earn points on their main character to rank up. Points can be earned in many different ways, but all of them are intended to be through means that really help to strengthen our community at its core.

*Please note, special circumstances may lower or increase the point value at the GM, CO-GM, or Officer’s discretion, but this is a baseline for our point system.

Keep in mind that the GMs and officers of Achievement cannot always be online, and therefore won’t always be aware of completed tasks. Because of this, if you see someone doing something nice for someone else, be sure to post about it in the #refer channel in discord for evaluation!

In the end, points are awarded at the discretion of the GMs and Officers, and might not be rewarded for each and every single task (especially if it is a task that has been repeated often in a short time frame by the same person). However, we encourage you to keep being friendly and doing kind things for others, even if it doesn’t earn you points. After all, our goal is to make Achievement a welcoming place to be!

7 POINTS

  • Organizing any guild event with at least 5+ people in attendance

  • + 3 bonus points for guild achievements that require 8+ people

  • Give feedback or suggestions that are approved and directly influence the guild in a positive way.

5 POINTS

  • Helping complete a guild achievement

  • Attending guild event

  • Donate to guild bank

  • Donation Points can only be earned this way once, so you cannot “buy” ranks.

3 POINTS

  • Join a guild member in a current content dungeon

  • Join a guild member in a dungeon or raid to earn old achievements

  • Helping explain something difficult to someone. (Convoluted quest line, raid mechanics, end game strategies, class/spec help etc)

2 POINT

  • Random act of kindness

  • Bumping the forum recruitment board when there hasn’t been a post in over 24 hours

challenges

One of Achievement's main guild features is monthly and weekly challenges. These objectives are constantly changing but can reward rank points, gold, pets, and even mounts. Typically monthly challenges are much more difficult and weekly challenges are able to completed in a day.

Weekly challenges always start on Tuesday with the in-game weekly reset day.
Most challenges will require Discord to participate for submitting entries etc.

GM COMMENT

Linhuo was our choice of the month because they are always up to doing things with the guild. Aside from always being willing to lend a hand when in anyone in the guild needs it, and seemingly knowing just about everything about WoW, they have a great personality and are a lot of fun to hang out with in discord and beyond. They bring a positive attitude and some awesome skills to the discord including some awesome art and other creative content.
